About Bonito Cane Corso Kennel
We are breeders of top-quality Cane Corso for Canada and the world and was founded by Marcello Bonito in 2017. For local clients, we current has two locations for the Hamilton and Sudbury areas.
I’d like to share a special story about how I first encountered this breed.
I’ve been a dog owner my entire life, growing up on a 25-acre farm where we bred German Shepherds as a hobby. As I moved out and began breeding Belgian Malinois and Rottweilers, a unique situation arose. A friend of mine, who was relocating overseas with his young son, was unable to take his son’s beloved dog with him.
Understanding the strong bond between the boy and his dog, I agreed to care for the dog, promising to love it unconditionally. Once my friend and his son settled into their new life, I bred the dog and sent them a puppy from the same lineage. They were thrilled to receive a beautiful male pup that resembled the original dog.
This experience was a turning point for me. Fueled by my growing passion and knowledge in breeding, I established Bonito Cane Corso. Today, our kennel thrives thanks to our dedication to the breed.
As an avid Cane Corso breeder, I am a member of the CKC, AKC, CFC, and ICCF. We rigorously health test all our dogs before including them in our breeding program, focusing on the breed’s improvement, correctness, and temperament.
